Anna et Pierre - Le Café

The best cafe ever! Delicious coffees, pastries, and teas. The environment is clean, cozy, and modern. The owners, Gigi and Dade, are amazing! I definitely recommend to everyone! My personal favorites are the twice baked almond croissant, iced caramel latte, and vanilla matcha latte! After trying for the first time I come here multiple times a week, I absolutely love it!

The owner and GiGi are amazing people. The hospitality is A1. The food is different but in a really good way. The coffee definently tastes better than alot of other coffee places I've been to. Highly recommended. Everything is A1. I definently love coming here Everytime in Poughkeepsie. I can write paragraphs and paragraphs of how good this place is. In my opinion best coffee, best hospitality and just overall great environment. RECOMMENDED!

Summer update! They now have cold brew coffee, which is smooth and delicious. A perfect summer drink! Update: The almond croissant is heaven and enjoying their cream earl grey tea. In the last month I had their mocha latte (amazing!) and their lemon tart. Their sandwiches on the weekends are delicious as well. On the one hand I don’t want college students in the area to discover this wonderful place but then again I want them to thrive and stay in the neighborhood. Enjoying the quiet right now this Sunday mid morning. ************************************ I found my new place for coffee and pastry! I’ve been wanting to come here since their opening and finally did so today. First, the space is so beautiful, warm and cozy. The owner has an incredible eye for design and for comfort. There’s plenty of seating and the view out of the window is remarkable being right across from the Hudson River and you can see the walkway. I ordered hot chocolate which was beautifully presented and tasted rich and creamy with a touch of cinnamon. The temperature was just right so I can drink it right away without scalding my tongue. The raspberry croissant was a nice accompaniment to the hot chocolate. It was filled with raspberry and cream cheese. Yum! Last but not least is being greeted with such warmth by the owner who brought me my order, as I sat on the comfy couch looking out the river. I look forward to visiting often! Note: When driving to the cafe, go to the end of the road at the river then take a right. It’s on the bottom floor of an apartment building and the door opens to the outside. There’s parking on the side. I hear that improved signage and parking are on the docket by the management company.

I’ve been on the search for the perfect cafe with great coffee, food, atmosphere and a great view and this cafe is the one! I absolutely fell in love with their iced coffee and pastries. Everyone was welcoming, the service was incredible and was even offered a free breakfast! This is exactly what Poughkeepsie needed. The inside was beautiful and very clean. Will be my new go-to spot.

Love everything about Anna et Pierre. Waiting for the lemon pie to return … but other pastries and donut everything I tried so far is to die for. Also can study here for hours! Get some work done :) And last but not least, coffee is amazing. I can’t wait to try other espresso flavors.

I happened upon this utterly charming cafe while waiting for my family who were at the Children’s Museum. Anna et Pierre is a delightful cafe, run by a beautiful couple. They have curated a stunning space imbued with the deep sensibilities of hospitality and comfort. This one is not to be missed!

Perfect early morning spot along the Hudson. Great view from the front couch. Interior is gorgeous and spacious. Coffee was great. Lots of intensity options that would be familiar to Nespresso drinkers. The cups are just the right size and weight. Pastries were very good. Service was kind and quick.

Such a cozy little coffee shop! We stopped in for a latte and a cappuccino both were absolutely perfect. Smooth, rich espresso with just the right balance of milk and foam. You can really tell they care about quality here. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and a spot we’ll definitely be coming back to when in the area..Highly recommend if you’re a coffee lover!
